24 Nov 2008 - Councillor Neil Trafford

Tragically,Councillor Trafford died in a motorway accident on the M6 toll road in Staffordshire, yesterday. He attended our AGM only last week, and it is hard to comprehend that he is no longer with us. He was a friendly, approachable councillor, always good-humoured and supportive, who, together with his colleagues, helped the Association achieve many of its aims. He was a young man who related particularly well to our younger residents, and he had a great deal to offer the community. It is tragic that his life has been cut short in this way, and our thoughts are with his family and friends.
